Welcome to Valley View Garden Nursery

Valley View Garden Nursery was established in 2003 and has evolved through the years.

My range of Lavenders has been expanded and I also have rare and unusual Cottage Garden plants and some herbs, available at the shows and as spring progresses they will be on our Ebay shop. I love plants that have a use as well as being pleasing to the eye. There are so many varieties. I am not able to grow them all but have chosen reliable and popular varieties. For each purchase I provide information about each plant covering growing and care instructions as well as possible uses. My young plants are grown with care for you to nurture to maturity. I have added an exciting gift range to complement my lavender plants for use all year round in the home.

Check out the Gift Range page.

Lavenders are a most satisfying plant to grow, being visually pleasing as well as stimulating your senses, they are easy to grow and can be harvested for a great many uses or just to enjoy the plant's shape and colour throughout the year. They are happy planted out in your garden, window box or patio pot, making sure the soil is well drained. Even in the winter they bring a smile by just running your hand through their aromatic foliage. The foliage varies from pale green to grey depending on the variety.

Herbs have been around for ever and are such an invaluable part of our lives be it for their culinary or medicinal uses. Nowadays we are rediscovering a lot of their uses and it is important for everyone to learn as much as we can about the herbal plants growing around us.

Please consult a qualified herbalist before using any herb for medicinal purposes
